Yellow Safety rope 10mt long (30') and 6mm dia. Ideal for a range of situations. Throwing to a casualty, crossing water or keeping together in fog. This safety rope is a good addition to the Safety pack. If there is more than one in a group they can be looped together for a longer line. |

Outdoor Safety Pack with Safety rope This pack has been put together through experience, a casualty located quickly can save valuable minutes. The day-glo yellow panel will make you stand out from others and you will be seen from a greater distance or be more visible if the weather is closing in. A silver foil space blanket is included, being silver it's highly visible but most importantly used to put around the casualty to retain body heat. In an accident heat loss can be rapid even in the best of conditions. I took the photos during an emergency on the Cornish coast path (just happened to have my camera). The helicopter pilots commented on how quickly we were spotted. I had put the pack together for my own use but have now added it to our list. |
