Getting into the outdoors with a disability

We have quite a few customers with disabilities that are getting out and taking photos. Our local Country Park, The Grand Western Canal, are working with countrysidemobility.org to offer off-road trampers for use on the tow path. Another link that may be of interest is the Disabled Photographers Society.

The Disabled Photographers' Society Enabling Photographers in the UK. The Countryside Mobility - scheme provides easy access to the countryside for people with disabilities living in and visiting South West England through a mobility scooter hire scheme.

Dean Birders - this project was the result of two keen birdwatchers getting together and wanting to share their hobby with those that have difficulty getting out and about. Team Hybrid - produce a unique range of hand cycles that are designed to be used with your existing rigid frame wheelchair by means of a simple and unique lightweight docking system.
