|"Unlike some websites we never say we are the
best, that's for our customers
to decide but what we can say is that our products are designed through experience
and are made in our workshop in Devon using the best materials.
For our Dome hides we use proofed and breathable polycotton material and high quality alluminium flexi poles.
Our dome hides pack into a small bag which is easy to carry and stow. We don't use spring out steel frames".

A REVOLUTION IN HIDE DESIGN - LIGHTWEIGHT - QUICK TO PUT UP - FREE-STANDING
Dome Hide in Camouflage pattern. Ideal for woodlands, especially in dappled light.
We use proofed and breathable poly-cotton for our hides instead of nylon. The breathability of poly-cotton material performs well in the summer keeping you cooler and in the winter the breathability prevents condensation building up on the inside of the hide.
In windy conditions the poly-cotton is not as rustly as nylon would be. The poly-cotton we use is rot resistant and hard wearing. Our hides should give you long service in helping you get closer to the wildlife.
For cleaning if needed - just wipe with a wet sponge or hand wash in warm water. Our poly-cotton material has a proofing on the surface which could be lost if put in a washing machine or washed in detergents. The hides can be re-proofed. There are sprays available from outdoor/camping shops.
Due to the natural blend of the poly-cotton materials the colours may fade if the hide is left out over a period of time.
leave your hide out for extended periods of time our scrim covers can
help to reduce the hide colours fading.
| The Dome Hide has all the features you want
in a hide. I've put together the things I've been asked for over the
years of running Wildlife Watching Supplies® and my own wildlife
The hide is 1.3m (4' 4") square at the base and 1.35m (4'6") high at the centre. This gives plenty of room for one person and a stack of gear. (Large Dome Hide (C.30.1): 1.5m (5') square base, 1.49m (nearly 5') high at centre.)
Quick to put up. Just thread the two Aluminium flexipoles through, and then hook the ends into the brass eyelets at the corners.
Our Dome Hides have been built to last. The best materials have been used and sewn together with an industrial overlock machine to give added strength. High quality nylon webbing peg loops and nylon guy ropes used. The pegs and poles are high tensile aluminium, these are very strong, but extremely light - an important factor in designing and building a hide. Our Dome Hides are sold worldwide and we have materials for all seasons and climates including snow.
|I made a log feeder to attract the birds. From the hide which is 4m away it just looks like a small tree. As the log feeder is moveable (metal spike) you can place it where you have the best light for the time of day that you are in the hide.|
| This Dome Hide has
been in place for several years and has been through the harshest
winters. The natural shape of the dome hide allows the
rain to run off and be aerodynamic in the wind.
There are no flat tops to puddle or square sides to act like sails. I check the hide and guy ropes every couple of days when I top up the bird feeders. Over the time the hide has been in place, it has kept it's weather proofing. The poly-cotton material used is ideal as it is proofed, breathable and rot resistant.
C55 THE "SNOOT"
The "Snoot" - fits into the hide window by velcro, giving extra protection from the weather.
C48/49/50 SCRIM COVERS for Dome Hides
Makes your hide truly adaptable with the changing seasons. Can thread with natural vegetation.

Customise Your Hide
Extra Options to Customise Your Hide
I designed our Dome Hides for my own photography many years ago. I knew the size and height of the hides I wanted. I experimented with the position of the windows and came up with an optimum design. Over the years, we have supplied many Dome Hides to photographers, film and TV companies including the BBC. We do make up specials to customer's requirements i.e. larger windows for broadcast cameras.
We have now
added some extras/options to our online shop to help you customise your
Dome hide -
Our C31 Mini Dome and C31.1 Long & Low Dome have a choice of ground sheets built in or not. If you regularly use your dome hide on uneven ground, then a Dome Hide without a built in groundsheet and pockets around the base instead may be more suitable. You have the option to choose which you prefer on these two hides.
We design the Dome hides in our workshop in Devon and make them from top quality proofed and breathable poly-cotton material - now you can customise your Dome Hide when ordering from our online shop.
THESE ITEMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN PURCHASING THE DOME
